After a very long break, I guess it's time to update.
Last year we went on vacation as planned. What wasn't planned was the phone call stating the company I worked for had sold and I would be coming home to no job. But I wasn't sad or depressed. Yes, I would miss most of my fellow co-workers, but in all honesty it was an answer to prayer.
I've gotten to be a stay at home mom. It's been wonderful but also financially stressful. God will provide! I have started quilting (speaking of which I need to work on the one sitting in my bin) I enjoy being in the kitchen provided a wonderful dinner for my family. The kids seem to like the fact I'm home and can attend more of their school functions.
My oldest left for college. Lasted about 5 months and returned home.
My middle son has been working hard in school. Making the honor roll (proud momma) and joined the local fire department. He is really enjoying being apart of the drill team.
My youngest is also working hard in school and has loved doing sports. Unfortunately he broke his wrist this past Saturday during a scrimmage against some of the local teams and looks like he will be out the rest of the season.
Bear is always working hard. When not at work it seems like someone somewhere has something they just NEED for him to do.
In the beginning of the summer I was hired at the local post office and a temporary rural carrier. I've really enjoyed the work. I only work a couple hours a day when needed so I still get to be home in the morning to put the boys on the bus and I'm here when they get home and I'm able to start dinner and have it ready by the time my hubby is home from work.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. My laptop is being stupid so I'm using one of the kids.
God has been working on me in some areas of my life. I'll attempt to share one of these day.
